Child Life-Line (“CLL”) was registered as a charitable, non-profit-making association with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja and issued with the Certificate of Registration, number 9289 on the 27th March, 1996.
CLL has a Board of Trustees, who are the legal representatives of the Association and hold title to CLL’s assets. The operations and day to day management of the Association, however, are supervised by the Executive Committee, headed by the President of the Association, which reports to the Board of Trustees (a trustee may not hold office as a member of the Executive Committee). The Executive Committee members are elected to their positions by the Association membership for 2 year terms, renewable for a further consecutive term of 2 years. Neither the Trustees nor the Executive Committee members receive any remuneration for their time and services to CLL.
